www.bcassaniart.com Belén Cassani was born in Caracas, Venezuela to a family of artists. Her father was a creator and designer of fine jewelry and her mother was a well-known painter in her native country. Exposure to and appreciation of the arts began in early childhood and has continued throughout her life with wide-range educational emphasis on piano, architectural drawing, interior and fashion design. She had honor and privilege of being a student under Professor Aglays Oliveros from the Museo de Arte de Caracas (Caracas Art Museum) as well as being under the guidance of experienced professor Mark Menendez from Tampa, Florida. In March 2000, Belén Cassani received the first and fourth prizes of the Strawberry Art Festival in Plant City, Florida. Her strongest artistic influence has allowed her to focus on her creative and energy bringing to life, her paintings, the beauty, "Streams: United Through Art" exhibition on March 2001 presented on a successful exhibition by the University of Illinois at Chicago, Illinois. Belén's Horizons Exhibit on July 2001, exhibiting great pieces of art inspired on the mother nature. On August 2001, an article published by La Voz de Indiana newspaper talks about Belén and her passion for painting. On September 2001 Belén participated in the 4th Carmel International Art Festival 2001 at the Carmel Civic Square, Carmel, Indiana. Again on September 2001, she was at the City Market in Indianapolis, and at the White River Gardens where she painted live, both events promoting with a group of Artists the Bridge to the Arts Festival.
