I am from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. I studied Art at the Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo. While in the Dominican Republic, I also took private lessons with a renowned Dominican artist. I've lived in the USA since 1986, and presently reside in Carmel, Indiana. Since being in the Untied States, I have furthered my studies, by taking drawing lessons in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I have also studied oil painting at the Indianapolis Art Center. I have participated in several art expositions in and out of Indiana. I love painting with oil. I enjoy working on canvas with tropical themes: the reality of the country women, the marketplace with their people, fruit & vegetables, the coconut trees, the ocean and the streets with all the bight colors. But above of all, I love to share my homeland through my artwork. Some of my paintings have been donated for good causes.
